A haunting story about a young street poet, and her compassionate and obsessive pursuit of a homeless woman, through a vision of dreams, drugs and destruction, in a world tinged with spirits and skeptics.
Richard Leebrick has been developing this story since its conception in 1993. After two successful workshop productions of the material on stage, he has worked closely with producer and director of photography Edward C. Schiessl on adapting RUBY BY THE RIVER for the screen.
